Mr. Schwotzer founded Crossgates, Inc., a privately held real estate development and construction company. In 1972, his son, Gregg A. Schwotzer, joined the firm and has since risen to the position of President & CEO. Since its inception, the reputation of Crossgates has been built on integrity and innovation in all fields of endeavor. In 2006, Ryan Schwotzer, Arthur's grandson and Gregg's nephew, made Crossgates a three-generation company.
